Job Title: Site Engineer – UK & NI Projects

About the Role:
A well-established main contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join its expanding team. This role involves working on a range of high-quality construction projects across the UK and Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out, technical support, and quality control across multiple sites.
This is a great opportunity for a flexible and ambitious engineer looking to gain exposure to diverse projects and develop within a structured and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Support the site management team with technical and engineering input
- Maintain and monitor site QA procedures, records, and documentation
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards
- Liaise with subcontractors, site teams, and external consultants as required
- Assist with planning and coordination of construction activities
- Travel to and work across various live construction sites in the UK and NI
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in a site engineering role (setting out and QA experience essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in using surveying instruments and software (e.g., total station, AutoCAD)
- Full clean driving licence
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK and Northern Ireland
