Role: Site Engineer

Location: Co. Dublin

Salary: €45,000 - €60,000

 

Talent-Curve are  working with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are looking to add a talented Site Engineer (2–4 years’ experience) to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier contractor delivering high-profile projects across Dublin, including:

  • Dublin Airport works
  • High-rise residential developments
  • Commercial builds
  • Roads and infrastructure projects

This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer who not only enjoys the technical side of setting out but also has the confidence to support junior engineers and the drive to progress quickly toward Senior Engineer or Project Manager level.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Site/Project Manager and supporting day-to-day site operations
  • Setting out accurately in line with design drawings and specifications
  • Monitoring works on site to ensure programme and quality requirements are met
  • Managing and coordinating junior/graduate engineers on site
  • Assisting in the management of site traffic and logistics
  • Ensuring the correct materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner
  • Maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks when required
  • Liaising with clients, design teams, and the public in a professional manner

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Site Engineer on civils or building projects
  • Previous experience with RC Frames is desirable but not essential
  • Strong setting out experience with GPS/Total Station
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction management software
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites as required
