Job title: Site Engineer
Salary: €50,000–€60,000 per year + vehicle

Our client are a growing construction and property development company specialising in high-quality ICF-built homes and modern residential projects.
This position is based on a small residential development of approx. 50 units, delivered in phases of 15–20 units at a time. The successful candidate will report directly to the company owner.
The Role
- We are seeking a hands-on Site Engineer who can take responsibility for both the technical engineering elements and the day-to-day management of the site. This is a hybrid position combining setting-out, coordination, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all setting-out and engineering duties for the project
- Coordinate, supervise, and support subcontractors daily
- Plan, schedule, and organise site activities and short-term programmes
- Manage deliveries, book plant, and organise materials
- Maintain quality control, safety standards, and site compliance
- Resolve on-site issues proactively and efficiently
- Liaise directly with senior management regarding progress, issues, and weekly targets
- Keep clear site records and ensure all work meets specification and drawing
- Ensure the site remains tidy, safe, and well-organised at all times
- Support the project through all stages to completion
About You
- Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
- Strong setting-out experience (ICF experience beneficial but not essential)
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Confident managing trades and building strong on-site relationships
- Practical, proactive, and solution-driven approach
- Comfortable working on a small site with a high level of responsibility
- Strong ability to read drawings and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Full, clean driver’s licence
