Job Title: Site Foreman / Working Foreman (Carpentry Background Preferred)
Salary: Negotiable (€60,000 - €90,000 DOE + company vehicle/Benefits)
Location: North Dublin
Project: Conservation/Restoration works
We are seeking an experienced Working Site Foreman to join a long-established construction company known for delivering high-quality conservation, restoration, and specialist building projects across the Dublin region. The company has a strong reputation for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and successfully managing complex heritage and bespoke builds.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organised, and capable of leading trades on site while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, manage, and coordinate all on-site construction activities
- Lead tradesmen and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Conduct regular quality control checks and resolve site issues promptly
- Manage project schedules and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Maintain site safety standards and compliance with regulations
- Communicate effectively with site teams, suppliers, and management
- Assist with carpentry tasks as required (working foreman position)
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Site Foreman or Working Foreperson role
- Strong background in restoration, conservation, or specialist construction projects (advantage)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage crews and maintain a productive, safe working environment
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling (required)
- Carpentry trade background is highly desirable
- Full driving licence
