salary: €75,000 - €85,000 +package

An established and highly respected Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its team on a €3 million overclad project within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors.
• Preparing and managing weekly permit systems for planned works.
• Liaising closely with the client's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team to ensure full compliance with site procedures and permit requirements.
• Coordinating subcontractor activities to maintain productivity, quality, and programme milestones.
• Developing and implementing site logistics plans to ensure safe and efficient project delivery within a live operational environment.
• Monitoring health, safety, environmental, and quality performance across the project.
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress, risks, and programme updates to the Project Manager.
• Building strong working relationships with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager.
• Previous experience delivering pharmaceutical, industrial, manufacturing, or other technically complex construction projects.
• Experience working within live operational environments with strict health and safety procedures.
• Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems, subcontractor management, and construction logistics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with client EHS teams.
• A proactive approach with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Relevant construction qualifications together with valid Safe Pass and other required site certifications.
