We are currently seeking experienced and talented Site Managers to join our high-performing project teams. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects on a range of sectors including large commercial & mission critical
Reporting to: Project Managers / Contracts Manager
Purpose of Role
Oversee site operations on a daily basis, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standard. This role is ideal for someone with a background in fit-out projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Client Expectations: Ensure client expectations are met by delivering a high-quality product, maintaining professional and positive relations with design teams and client representatives.
- Health & Safety: Uphold the highest standards in health & safety, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with regulations.
- Progress Reporting: Provide accurate and timely progress reports to your manager, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work meets the required standards with minimal rework.
- Project Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute works to deliver the project in accordance with contract documents and timelines.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain excellent working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and the supply chain.
- Resource Scheduling: Efficiently resource and schedule work in line with the project construction programme, ensuring optimal productivity.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and finishes are achieved.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any on-site issues promptly to minimise delays and maintain project momentum.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on project status.
The Candidate
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
- Proficient with MS Office and project scheduling software.
- Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) tools like Procore is desirable.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Keen attention to finishes with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Self-starter with good judgment under pressure.
- Capable manager with the ability to motivate and drive the workforce.
- Commercially aware, demonstrating market and competitor awareness.
