About the Role:
On behalf of a busy and reputable fit-out contractor, we are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to manage site operations on high-profile office fit-out projects across Dublin. This contractor is known for delivering high-quality finishes and maintaining strong client relationships, with a solid pipeline of projects secured throughout Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in site management for fit-out projects and possess excellent organizational and leadership skills to oversee all on-site activities from start to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead site teams, including subcontractors and trades, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Quality Control: Enforce quality standards and ensure all work meets the specifications and client expectations.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices to create a safe work environment.
- Coordination & Scheduling: Coordinate daily activities on site, manage resource allocation, and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely project progression.
- Problem Solving: Address on-site issues as they arise, quickly identifying solutions to minimize disruption to the schedule.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing any queries or concerns and ensuring client satisfaction with the project’s progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, progress reports, and any necessary documentation to support project tracking and compliance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager on fit-out projects, with a strong preference for office fit-out experience.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materials, and finishes, particularly in the office sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with construction management software and strong understanding of interpreting drawings and specifications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Leadership Ability: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and uphold high standards.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes.
- Certifications: Valid Safe Pass, manual handling, and other relevant health and safety certifications.
