A highly respected and long-established construction contractor, renowned for delivering complex and high-value projects across the pharmaceutical, commercial, and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming Pharma project in Bray, Co. Wicklow, commencing in January.
This contractor has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, quality delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of health & safety. They offer a stable working environment, backed by decades of industry experience and a strong pipeline of specialist projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations on a pharmaceutical project
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
- Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental compliance in a regulated pharma environment
- Liaise with project management, design teams, client representatives, and consultants
- Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and drive productivity
- Ensure all works meet regulatory, validation, and QA requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or regulated industrial projects
- Strong understanding of GMP environments and strict QA procedures
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex programmes and multiple work fronts
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Relevant construction qualifications and tickets (Safe Pass, SMSTS or equivalent)
