Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join the team in Cork City. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction projects, with expertise in residential, commercial, or educational sectors. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects in Cork City, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors, to achieve project milestones and quality benchmarks.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest standards of health and safety on-site, ensuring all activities comply with regulations and industry best practices.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure projects meet or exceed industry standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans, considering project specifications, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Proactively identify and address project issues, providing timely and effective solutions to keep the project on track.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
- Experience managing projects in residential, commercial, and educational sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager.
