Job Location: County Down
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus package
Project: Large Commercial Project

Company Description:
Our client is a leading Irish Main Contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-value projects. Known for their low employee turnover and focus on employee satisfaction, they are currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join their team for a prestigious commercial project in County Down.

The Role:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the site. This role involves ensuring the project is delivered on time, within specification, and on budget while maintaining high safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sub-contractors, engineering, operational staff, and personnel on site.
  • Schedule weekly work programmes, recording and reviewing weekly progress reports.
  • Implement daily and weekly programmes and issue programme details to sub-contractors.
  • Ensure the project progresses efficiently and meets the planned schedule.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of site management experience.
  • Experience with a main contractor is desirable.
  • Computer literate with a full understanding of design drawings.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • IOSH Managing Safety in Construction, Occupational First Aid, and any other CSCS or CPD certifications are beneficial.
