About the Company:

Our client is a leading contractor with extensive experience in large-scale residential developments across Ireland. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects and are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team for an exciting 240-unit residential development project in Meath.

Role Overview:

The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 240-unit residential development. This is a key role on a high-profile project, ensuring the site operates smoothly, efficiently, and meets all safety, quality, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee the full construction process on-site, ensuring the project runs according to schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring optimal workflow and team performance.

  • Health & Safety: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and minimising risk to staff, contractors, and visitors.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all works are completed to the required standards, in compliance with the project specifications, building codes, and relevant regulations.

  • Budget Control: Manage and track project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within agreed parameters, and report any budgetary concerns to senior management.

  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update clients, consultants, and other stakeholders on the progress of the project, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify potential issues and delays, resolving them swiftly to keep the project on track.

  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular site reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, issues, or risks that could impact the project timeline.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large residential developments, preferably 200+ units.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively.
  • Proficient in construction management software, MS Office, and project tracking tools.
  • Full clean driving licence and own transport.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience on projects of similar scale (240 units or more).
  • Knowledge of the Meath area and local regulations.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) or other digital construction tools.
