We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and manage the construction of a large-scale healthcare facility. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital project that will have a lasting impact on the community.

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, overseeing the construction of the healthcare facility from start to finish.

  • Ensure all activities on site are executed in line with project timelines, cost estimates, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency.

  • Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the site remains compliant and safe at all times.

  • Liaise with the project management team, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.

  • Develop and manage site-specific work schedules, making adjustments as necessary to ensure all project milestones are met on time.

  • Address any site issues or challenges promptly, implementing solutions to avoid delays or disruptions.

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure the work is completed according to the correct standards and regulations.

  • Maintain excellent quality control throughout the construction process, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

  • Ensure that all site documentation, including health and safety records, daily reports, and progress updates, is maintained and accurate.

  • Oversee the site’s budget, ensuring materials, labour, and equipment are used efficiently, and costs are kept within the approved limits.

  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging communication and teamwork among all site personnel.

  • Implement measures to minimise environmental impact and ensure sustainability throughout the project.

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the on-site team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high standards.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • A proven background in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in the healthcare sector.

  • A relevant qualification in construction management or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, site management procedures, and quality control standards.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team on-site.

  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
