A well-established contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a private one-off new build residential project currently at groundworks stage in County Monaghan. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with a background in delivering high-spec homes from greenfield through to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations from groundworks through to fit-out
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trades
- Ensure quality, health & safety, and environmental standards are met
- Track and report on project progress, site issues, and programme
- Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and internal teams
- Maintain site records, inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in site management, ideally in residential construction
- Proven track record of delivering one-off homes or similar projects
- Excellent knowledge of building regulations and site safety standards
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and ensure compliance on site
