A professional construction company operating throughout Ireland and the UK is seeking a Site Manager to lead and deliver new build healthcare projects. The company specialises in construction, redevelopment, and refurbishment services across multiple sectors and is known for delivering projects to a high standard with a client-focused approach. The current project is based in Drogheda, Co. Louth starting in June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new build healthcare projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and to the highest standards
  • Liaise directly with senior management including the Contracts Manager and Project Director
  • Maintain professional site records, reports, and documentation
  • Motivate, organise, and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
  • Conduct regular site surveys and risk assessments
  • Follow construction drawings and works information in fine detail
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the build

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing new build healthcare construction projects
  • Ability to lead teams and work under your own initiative
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and site management processes
  • Relevant third-party H&S training and certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to take projects from inception through to completion
