A reputable main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a large residential development based in Cherrywood. This role is ideal for an individual with a proven track record in delivering high-quality residential schemes from groundworks through to RC Frame structures and final handover.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full site management responsibility, reporting to the Contracts Manager.
  • Oversee all site operations including groundworks, RC Frame construction, and follow-on trades.
  • Coordinate all subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers to deliver the project safely, on time and within budget.
  • Ensure works comply with all planning, building regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Liaise with the design team, client representatives and stakeholders to ensure smooth progress on site.
  • Monitor quality control and manage snagging and handover process.
  • Maintain site records, progress reports and manage site logistics.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Site Manager role with a main contractor or developer.
  • Strong experience delivering RC Frame residential projects.
  • Solid knowledge of groundworks and civil packages.
  • Trade background or construction-related qualification.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
