Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Dublin
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Package: Competitive (DOE) + vehicle/allowance + expenses + benefits
Employer: Facade Conservation & Building Refurbishment
We’re seeking a Site Manager to deliver façade conservation and building refurbishment projects across Dublin—ranging from protected structures and heritage façades to complex occupied-building upgrades. You’ll lead day-to-day site operations, H&S, programme, quality, and stakeholder coordination through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Own site delivery: daily planning, look-aheads, logistics, permits, and site set-up.
- Implement and enforce Health & Safety (RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks, audits).
- Manage specialist subcontractors (stone, brick, sash, roofing, metalwork, glazing, scaffold, access).
- Coordinate façade access (scaffold/MEWP), protection, temporary works and sequencing.
- Drive quality control: mock-ups/samples, ITPs, inspections, snag/close-out, O&M collation.
- Interface with conservation architects, client reps, structural engineers, and local authorities.
- Lead progress meetings, RFIs, technical submittals, and change control.
- Manage procurement & materials (lead items, heritage products, approvals, traceability).
- Maintain programme & cost awareness; report KPIs, risks and mitigations.
- Ensure respectful operations in live/occupied environments (noise, dust, public interface).
About You
- 5+ years’ site management experience in façade restoration, conservation, or complex refurbishments (heritage/protected structures a plus).
- Strong knowledge of lime mortars, stone/brick repairs, cleaning methodologies, roofing, joinery, and façade envelope systems.
- Confident with temporary works, access planning, and urban site logistics.
- Proficient in MS Project (or equivalent), Excel, and digital QA/snag tools.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills; calm, organised, detail-driven.
- Safe Pass and relevant tickets (MEWP/Scaffold inspection/Temporary Works awareness) advantageous.
