Site Manager – Major Construction Projects (Tier 1)
 
Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: €85,000 – €105,000 per annum + Vehicle/Allowance & Comprehensive Benefits
 
The Employer
 
We are seeking a high-calibre Site Manager on behalf of a top-tier Main Contractor in the Irish market. This organisation is responsible for landmark commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments across Dublin and the Leinster region.

The Role
 
Based in Dublin, you will assume responsibility for managing site operations and construction activities for a large, complex work package or section of a major project. This leadership role demands meticulous planning, proactive problem-solving, and superior management of resources and subcontractors.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate all site personnel, subcontractors, and direct labour to ensure efficient programme delivery.
  • Champion and enforce the highest standards of Health & Safety, adhering to all Irish regulations and company safety statements.
  • Oversee quality control checks, ensuring all work is executed to exact design specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Project Management, Design, and Commercial teams to resolve any site issues promptly.
  • Monitor project progress, optimise resource allocation, and ensure daily/weekly targets are achieved.
 
Candidate Profile
 
  • A relevant third-level qualification (e.g., Construction Management or Civil Engineering).
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager, with specific experience on €15 million+ projects for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully manage large site teams and complex work packages.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Irish Health & Safety and Building Legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Must hold valid Safe Pass and First Aid certifications.
