We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a highly respected construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building and fitout projects across Ireland. This organisation is recognised for its commitment to safety, quality, and excellence, and continues to grow its presence within technically demanding sectors.

 

The Role

The Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders on fast-paced construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant health & safety regulations and site procedures
  • Review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Lead site inductions and ensure all personnel adhere to safety requirements
  • Support audits, inspections, and timely close-out of any actions

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship across all trades
  • Ensure all works comply with project specifications and approved technical submissions
  • Manage inspections, testing procedures, and project handover documentation
  • Identify and manage snagging, ensuring timely resolution
  • Liaise with design teams and stakeholders to resolve technical queries

Project Delivery

  • Manage daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors and trades
  • Develop and maintain project programmes and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and registers
  • Work closely with commercial teams on procurement, variations, and valuations
  • Identify risks to project delivery and implement mitigation strategies
  • Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates

General & Professional Development

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Site Manager role within construction
  • Strong background in building and fitout projects
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety and quality standards
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet project deadlines
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Relevant construction qualification preferred
