The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of a large-scale residential development, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities on site
- Ensure projects are delivered on programme and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and site teams
- Implement and maintain high standards of health & safety across site
- Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend and lead site coordination and safety meetings
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues and risks
- Ensure materials and resources are planned and ordered in line with programme requirements
- Work closely with the wider site management and commercial teams
- Maintain strong site standards, organisation, and communication throughout the project
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on large residential developments
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and residential delivery
- Degree, Higher Diploma, HETAC qualification, or relevant trade background
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
- Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and certification standards
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced programmes
