The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of a large-scale residential development, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational activities on site
  • Ensure projects are delivered on programme and within budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and site teams
  • Implement and maintain high standards of health & safety across site
  • Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attend and lead site coordination and safety meetings
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues and risks
  • Ensure materials and resources are planned and ordered in line with programme requirements
  • Work closely with the wider site management and commercial teams
  • Maintain strong site standards, organisation, and communication throughout the project

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large residential developments
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and residential delivery
  • Degree, Higher Diploma, HETAC qualification, or relevant trade background
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
  • Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and certification standards
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced programmes
