An established and highly regarded building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and work on a large-scale fit-out and renovation project within a food processing facility in Lusk.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
  • Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
  • Coordinate M&E installations and other specialist works.
  • Manage labour, materials and plant on site.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular site reports and updates.
  • Attend site, client and subcontractor meetings.
  • Coordinate RFIs, technical submissions and procurement requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality and housekeeping.
  • Ensure works comply with relevant regulations and BCAR requirements.
  • Lead daily site meetings and ensure clear communication across the site team.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and wider project team.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time and to the client’s satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Site Manager role within construction.
  • Strong commercial build and fit-out experience.
  • Experience coordinating M&E works would be highly advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, regulations and Health & Safety.
  • BCAR experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple site activities.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant construction qualification or trade background.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
