We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join an established and highly regarded construction company based in the West of Ireland.

The company works across a diverse range of projects, including residential developments and apartments, commercial and industrial buildings, schools and educational facilities, healthcare projects, office developments, retail and hospitality, fit-outs, civil engineering and public-sector infrastructure. This variety provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on high-quality projects and take a key role in their successful delivery.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the construction site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and coordinating all site activities and subcontractors.
- Leading site teams and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and in accordance with programme requirements.
- Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management.
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
- Managing quality control and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Identifying and resolving technical and site issues efficiently.
- Managing labour, materials, plant and subcontractor resources.
- Maintaining accurate site records and project documentation.
- Working closely with the wider project team to ensure smooth project delivery.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced construction professional with a strong background in site management and the delivery of building projects.
You will ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience in a Site Manager or similar senior site-based role.
- Proven experience managing construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Experience managing subcontractors, trades and site teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- A professional and proactive approach to site management.
- Relevant construction qualifications, with a relevant third-level qualification being an advantage.
