An established main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a 25-unit timber frame residential development in Drogheda, Co. Louth. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, quality control, and programme management. With a strong pipeline of future work in Drogheda and County Meath, this role offers long-term stability and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of housing project from groundworks to handover
  • Supervise all on-site activity, including subcontractors, labour, and materials
  • Ensure adherence to programme timelines, health & safety standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and resource planning
  • Report regularly to project management and liaise with design and technical teams
  • Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and snagging reviews
  • Maintain detailed site records, reports, and documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing residential construction projects, preferably timber frame
  • Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities concurrently
  • Valid Safe Pass, manual handling, and other relevant site certifications
  • Full clean driving licence
