Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee a large-scale 200-unit residential housing project in Lucan, Co. Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with subcontractors, and delivering the project to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process from initiation to completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including scheduling, planning, and coordinating work activities.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship by regularly inspecting the work, materials, and overall progress.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of all site activities.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Address any issues or delays that arise on-site, implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of site activities, changes, and incidents.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a site management role on large residential projects.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction management and safety (e.g., CIF Site Safety Management, SMSTS, CSCS).
