Job Description:
As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing residential construction projects in Drogheda, Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead a team of construction professionals and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all on-site activities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and implement detailed project schedules and monitor progress against timelines.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor on-site staff and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Conduct regular meetings to communicate project objectives, expectations, and updates.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Address client concerns or requests promptly and effectively to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., degree or diploma).
